- Name all the functions / buttons on the front of your camera
- Name all the functions / buttons on the back of your camera
- Explain how you would set the correct ISO
- Explain how you would change the aperture
- Explain how you would change the shutter speed
Name all the functions / buttons on the front of your camera:
SONY ALPHA A33
Name all the functions / buttons on the back of your camera:
Explain how you would set the correct ISO:
I would use the control ring pushing the ISO button to set the desired light. ISO is your camera’s sensitivity to light. The lower ISO the better, less noise and grain and better image quality.
Explain how you would change the aperture:
Here I would press down the AV button and turn the dial wheel in the front of the camera. Aperture is how much light that passes through the opening of a lens. Small number of aperture also called f/stop gives you more exposure. High f/stop give less exposure.
The lower the f/stop—the larger the opening in the lens—the less depth of field—the blurrier the background.
The higher the f/stop—the smaller the opening in the lens—the greater the depth of field—the sharper the background.
Explain how you would change the shutter speed:
Here I would go to the front of the camera and turne the shutter speed dial to change to my desired shutter speed. A slow shutter speed, the longer exposure time. A fast shutter speed, the shorter exposure time.
