1. Look at the following logos and explain in your own words what you consider their positioning to be (do this for each one).


Well the logo kind of speaks for itself. This is a photo and video SOME app that changed the world. Instant gratification. Showcasing all aspects of life or the part you choose to share. Influencers, companies, privet persons or your animal. Everybody’s there. Sold to Facebook in 2012 for approximately 1 billon US$. I bet founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger never in their wildest dreams could have imagined the success Instagram would become. Having a bad day? Just put a filter on it. Addictive and all-consuming for some. Probably one of the worlds most Iconic logos.


An Iconic logo of a three-pointed Star. Mercedes is known all around the globe. Representing luxury and comfort. Familiar, masculine and timeless. A quality car. My grandfather had more than one.


The Iconic MasterCard logo, two overlapping circles one orange and one yellow. Most of us have one. When I see a MasterCard my mind instantly thinks of spending money you don’t have. Easy to use, accessible and you can use it all over the world.
